Thomson River Marble quarry

Located off Marble Quarry Track (C22) which runs of the Erica-Cowarr Road, this small little known marble quarry has some of the most unusual patterned marble you will ever see. The small quarry is perched high on the hill above the Thomson River downstream of Bruntons Bridge.The marble quarry area has good views of the thomson River valley and some of the natural bushland of the area.The marble Quarry Track sign is no longer there but there is a C22 forestery sign on a tree marking the track. |
